I still think this has been the plan all along

Think about it: pence does do the right thing, and they're so outraged they decide to change it so it'll never happen again. They would have tons of support and we would have court/impeachment proceedings again and it would be a shit show

Think about this: now pence takes the difficult decision, as does Trump. Not expected. They love it! He had no right anyway! Pence even said so!

BUT... He indeed did have that right. And now they have to fight the very thing they insisted was a huge lie the entire time... Proving Trump correct again!

And by proving Trump correct through their actions, the awakening continues!
