Is your place at work the result of any type of racial privilege such as affirmative action, diversity hiring, a racial caps and quotas system, government subsidies for racial hiring, corporate or NPO/NGO sponsorship of diversity hiring, or public relations social pressure not to be meritocratic? Or is it from 100% colorblind best-worker-for-the-job hiring decisions by operations wizards who never virtue signal or sell out? Because if it’s the latter and you really do have that merit, perhaps you should apply your aptitude to building up the black community by working in and for black areas.
You shouldn't care about the "Group" for one reason.
You cannot control the actions of the Group.
Just as I cannot control the actions of other blacks.
Therefore.. I see the world as I am on my own.
I could give 100000 black people success advice.
It would be up to them to do follow the advice or ignore it.
That's why I will share any knowledge I have with ANYONE who is willing to do something with it.
I would rather mentor 5 white kids who will actually take action on what I tell them.
Vs 5 black kids who would do nothing.
I would think the same if this situation was reversed as well.
My purpose isn't to build up the black community.
My purpose is to create something BIG for ALL PEOPLE!!!

I would quit my job if I found out I was a freaking diversity hire. We had to take a logic test in addition to interview.
So I am assuming they wanted me because they like the results of my test. As well as how I sold myself.
They don't have any quota program.
