Will do. We had a meeting yesterday about the status of our requests with all those at my base who have refused the shot. The intention of the meeting was to give us a heads up to the process if our requests are denied. I am in the Air National Guard, and found that only around 4000 people from guard bases across the country have submitted requests, and of the 4000, only 1 has been decided. We do not know the outcome, but it seems that if they approve one, then they would have to approve them all. How could they say one person is more "religious" than another without opening themselves up to massive discrimination suits? We should have had our response back within 60 days, but I look at it as a blessing. The more time that passes the more information is brought to the surface to support our claims.
I'm refusing based on principle and therefore won't be part of any religious exemption stats, even though I am religious. Soldiers in my MEDICAL unit are misled to believe that they are able to give their FULLY INFORMED consent to EXPERIMENTAL medical treatment after being fed propaganda and told that what they "Googled" for personal research is misinformation. They are told that they have no choice, that this is expected of them as a Soldier, and that this is what they signed up for when they joined the Army. Then they given false equivalencies between getting every vaccine that the Army jabbed us with when we joined to the Covid-19 "Vaccines" that use MRNA technology. When debated, they said that MRNA have to researched for decades and therefore safe. I've spoken with many Soldiers, including my commander and 1SG, a medical provider tasked with counseling Soldiers on Covid-19 Vaccines, Hospital XO, and other medical officers, and their apathy and ignorance is astounding! Simple matters such as EUA vs BLA licensure (FDA full approval), Pfizer-BioNtech vs Comirnaty, Covid-19 Vaccines with full licensure are not available, PREP Act, liability immunity, Nuremburg Code, anthrax vaccine in military history, etc. Discrimination is rampant vs unvaccinated service members while we continue to attend mandatory trainings for Equal Opportunity, Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention, and leadership professional development. At least I am in the Army Reserve. Active Duty service members get bullied non-stop. Just imagine being a young new service member right now.
On record in my counseling form, I am waiting for a Covid-19 Vaccine to be fully licensed AND available to that I can fulfill my order (I am 99% sure that is never coming to fruition). At the time it was Comirnaty and now Spikevax too. Same story, same bait and switch. However, the Army gave us only 3 options, refuse, Religious Exemption, and/or Medical Exemption. Of course, I can't "wait for a fully licensed vaccine" so I had to refuse. Illusion of choice from tyrants.
Standing on principle is the way to go. I feel much better about myself for not going the "beg for an exemption" route. My exemption is the First Amendment.
By refusing, you have not validated any part of their scheme, and will not have to figure out how to walk back your validation once exemptions start getting pulled. And they will. I just had a Pede who saw my common law series ask me for help over a pulled religious exemption.
Yeah, I find that keeping it simple is the best way to reason with these tyrants. The Constitution, religious freedom, fully informed consent, experimental treatments (including all Covid-19 tests), only EUA available, etc. Resorting to their exemptions just validates their unconstitutional order as we become an unwilling participant in their ever changing game. What sense is to having their entire team of lawyers and your career Chain of Command dictate whether or not your religious beliefs are sincere and genuine? Do the freedoms that we fought for not extend to the service members themselves? They state that since the major heads of the main religions agree to the mandates then we must do the same! Bullshit!
The medical provider that counseled me even said that I was the most sensible Soldier she has spoken to since being tasked with counseling all unvaccinated Soldiers. She basically mocked at their concerns about the adverse reactions, microchipping, 5G, magnetism, blood clots, etc. It's fucking wild!
They are playing games with the numbers to make it seem low. This is a tactic the Navy used to great effect. Those 4k are simply the ones who are following the system - likely just as many out right refusing.
The “who” those 4k are is important. Think of your unit - there are typically a handful of movers and shakers that actually get things done. Consistently the anti-vax come from this small group. Also think skilled personnel (pilots, EOD, etc.). Not the ones they want to be losing.
Lastly, and it is a bad spot, but likely there have been a steady amount of quiet retirements and folks choosing not to re-enlist. This silent group that has chosen to simply walk away is not being reported, but makes the loss of that 4k that much worse.
Correct. I've been in for 15+ years and with the discovery of all the wolfs in sheepskin/Commies in my Chain of Command I rather be part of the refusal/separation stat then adverse reaction stat. Screw the retirement too.

"Only 4,000" is disheartening.

Don’t let 4k dishearten you:

My thoughts exactly. I am not sure what our total enlistment is in my state, but it was only 130-140 in the whole state, according to our Chaplain.
