I wonder if the concept of term limits was considered by the Founding Fathers.

Originally, there were no term limits for prez or VP, and of course none for Congress or judges.

Anyone know if the subject was ever debated at the Constitutional Convention?

Maybe their history of having a king and "House of Lords," etc. was such that nobody really thought much about how important term limits might be
