This is doomed to fail and even in Canada it likely won't have the desired results. I won't speak on Canada because I don't know enough details about how their government is structured into provinces but here in the USA, each state has far more power than some may realize.
Going to the capital city of a country can only have broad results but rarely more specific results. Individual states can determine many borderline illegal mandates without the federal government being involved. Then you have the right of an individual business to have their set of rules regarding the face covid bullshit.
Washington DC is the last place a protest should take place because that place is more guarded than possibly anywhere else on the entire planet because that place is full of some of the worst criminals on the planet so naturally they want extra protection.
DC already has a vaccine mandate requirement to enter any business. Here in Florida the governor put a stop to businesses trying to require a vaccine but in DC the city is requiring businesses to make people show vaccine to enter. That's probably why many businesses in DC are closed and sadly many probably will never truly reopen which means likelihood of being replaced by some corporate type bullshit.
There's somewhere around 330 million people in USA. If just 1 million went to each state's capitol, that would only be 50 million but everyone has excuses as to why they can't or really why they won't sacrifice some of their time and money to be heard.
A large crowd tried this already Jan 6 of 2021 and government didn't give a shit. Too many people seem to believe you have to go to the head of the snake to get something done but real progress happens on state and local levels far more than federal.
People have to make sacrifices if they want to create true change and that will not happen from any one single protest or movement. The enemy has been at this for generations so only a fool would ever believe that it can be fixed so easily but it most certainly can be fixed.
There's even a chance many of us won't live long enough to see the complete change but many things are possible that previously seemed impossible. If people wants true change to happen faster then it would require people giving up their free time after work to protest 7 days a week.
People have to give up their stupid beers and alcohol for a while too and give up their luxuries. People have to sacrifice their personal time outside of work and sometimes even sacrifice some sleep. People have to be well organized also because without large enough numbers we would truly be wasting our time.
How badly are people wanting freedom? it seems like the answer to that is not very badly at all because people go to work, go home, drink on the weekends, very rarely bother getting off their couch to protest and be heard. Nothing will ever truly change if people depend on a small group to do all of the work for them.
If people sit on their asses and wait for Q, DJT, or anyone else to save them then there may never be a desired outcome. Surely DJT has proven that 1 person cannot create the change we need but he did start a movement but even that movement is almost nonexistent unless DJT says to do something.
These protests are nothing more for moments to make people feel good. The truth is unpopular because it reminds people of their own personal failures in life and some people don't want to do whatever is needed to make needed changes.
