The Ambassador Bridge is the busiest border crossing between The US and Canada. Fully 25% of the trade between the two countries pass across this bridge. The Truckers have shut this crossing down and already auto plants in Michigan and in Windsor are closing down for lack of parts.
A Milford, Michigan Mom has begun a givesendgo to help feed these Truckers. She has contacted Garys catering in Wixom, Michigan to send their food trucks to the border to feed these Patriots. You can help here:

I really miss driving a stick.
If a car is remotely compromised you can just take it out of gear and yank the ebrake to stop it if the breaking system "stops functioning".
The first time I drove a hybrid, it was a rental. I was in Seattle and stuck on a hill in the afternoon commute traffic. I was unprepared for the car to shut down and start rolling back. I had learned how to drive a stick in SF so I got very good with the ebrake on a hill in traffic so it was an automatic response. If not, I probably would have rolled into the car behind me.
I’m from Seattle and I learned to drive a stick on those hills as a teen. I sweat a little just thinking about it 😅
LOL- I would practice in places like Pacific Heights at 11pm during the week when no one was around.
I have wondered about this … I had a 2004 Lexus, and one time (I think) the gas pedal floored itself for a couple seconds going up a steep bridge after I had gunned it … I was scared for a second coming down the backside, but it unstuck …
… I told my friend about it and he was like “you know what to do if that happens again ?” No I didn’t. “Put it in neutral and let the engine blow, you’ll be fine”
BUT, for these incidents like Michael Hastings in a brand new drive by wire Mercedes, do you think this would work ?
Putin's driver died in a mercedes that just HAPPEND to of veered into traffic for a massive collosion. He was not in the car that one time.
