Oh, they will probably go "crazy" all right. Like a mental breakdown, or a swing into anxiety and/or depression. The mental equivalent of kicking themselves around the block. I don't think people would be aggressive enough to focus this outside themselves. For that to happen, they would have to face up to the fact that they were stupid enough to believe the people that led them down the primrose path. Makes it hard to blame their leaders for their own stupidity. (Especially when people like us can say "I told you so" and put a date to it. Some people say it isn't "nice" to say "I told you so," but, really, I don't give a damn about nice when it is truth and justice that needs to be upheld.)
