I have never been athletic so I certainly get that. I did play sports in school because back then you didn’t get to wimp out because your mom said you could! I played soft ball & basketball through out high school just so I could leave early & not be stuck at school with a handful of kids. (Very small private school.) I know how to play, I’m just not coordinated. Playing & practicing did keep me in shape in high school. It also taught me about team sportsmanship. Back then you shook hands with the winning team when you lost. You didn’t get a trophy for participating!!! Fast Forward to my adult life. I hate basketball on TV! My husband isn’t into it, Yay. He’s always watching MLB & I actually understand that. We spent our early marriage years going to & watching Nascar races. (Totally different sports scene.) The sport isn’t what it was & we haven’t watched in several years. Even though Nascar sunk their own ship I’ll give them credit. They have a pastor at the track, church every Sunday & a real sincere prayer before the race.
