I think [they] will argue that because there's hundreds, if not thousands of truckers protesting all over Canada and effectively shutting down cross border commerce, that it does in fact constitue a national emergency based on public order, public health, and NatSec (in the sense that if commerce is slowed or stopped, it negatively impacts the effectiveness of the Ottawa seat of power).
These people may not be overly creative, or even smart, but [they] Excell at the use of lawfare tactics to drain the capital of any who would resist. Hence, the shut down of GoFundMe funds and the attempted confiscation of GiveSendGo's funds.
Although I do agree with you, the "law of the land" is their charter... Just like the constitution is the "law of the land" here in the US... Yes the government walks all over these sacred documents but the people are the true power... If castro jr. does anything to harm the protesters, those same protesters could shut down the entire commerce of Canada with a nation wide teamsters/truckers strike... Either way, he loses...
