What about some type of bartering system? I knew of a couple companies that had a bartering arrangement to sell their products to countries that didn’t have hard currency. Basically there was a chain of trades that ended with the seller receiving a product they used instead of cash.

The problem is at some point a transaction would have to start with cash.

Hopefully while we’re brainstorming they already have a contingency plan.
