They enact Emergency Powers and instead of sending in boots, they completely take over every Canadian in the country. Regardless of support, hate or indifference to the convoy.
How? They've given police the power to arrest you for any reason and given the banks the power to take control of your finances for any reason they think is suspicious.
So they can now arrest then steal your money for any reason. All 35M people.
I really don't think Canadians have even one arguable right left.
I always counter that with - let's say your kid gets into an argument at school with the child of an IRS agent. Suddenly your accounts are frozen and you're being audited, and even though you have absolutely nothing to hide and have done absolutely nothing wrong, you will pay lawyers and accountants and STILL have to pay some kind of fine because they never leave without "funding" something to prove their worth.
How about if a friend of yours breaks up with a cop, and suddenly you're getting pulled over and your vehicle seized because it looks like one that was reported stolen, or your workplace is visited for a random allegation, or your house raided for harboring a fugitive and property is taken and you're put on a watchlist. You've done nothing wrong!
Now if you like the wrong post your bank accounts are seized? What's right today is wrong tomorrow!
I feel ya, fren. But part of what we're here for is to mobilize; we started with that attitude but now we're here. We took memes and pushed them into reality, we're meming IRL.
Boomers and millennials are sharing them. Angry moms are taking over school boards. We're pushing precinct projects, and further for district chairs, election watchers and judges, actually running for local positions.
Some are still wanting to just be left alone? We ain't got time for that! If they're here, they should have realized that's no longer tenable. It should be painfully clear that they will never leave us alone.
