You’re not the only one… a document I was writing about Native Americans asked me to change it to indigenous Americans or something like that. Also, African Slaves, asked me to change it to Enslaved Americans. I was like “that’s not even the context! Why would I want to change it to that”
Oh holy fuck liberals decided one day they suddenly couldn't stand American Indian so they forced us to say Native American, and now they're vilifying THAT? "Indigenous" isn't any better than "Native". It's harder for the avg person to say and spell.
It's also not true.
Indians migrated to this continent long ago via the Bering Land Bridge from Siberia, which has since been covered by the sea. They didn't spring up out of the dirt like a pine tree. They were someplace else and didn't like it, so they journeyed to America. Just like our ancestors.

We're all Americans now.
