They’re only asking for two weeks of emergency powers to flatten the bouncy castles.

Dude, that’s powerful. We ALL have at least one person in our lives experiences that have wronged us, resulting in hatred. The act of forgiveness is not a token leap, only to be stated then thrown aside for more hate. God knows what’s in our hearts. I think we’ve all heard the example “what would you do if you met Hitler when he was young” or something similar? Most people would say I’d kill him, right? What if his father was whipping him with a belt every night, or if his Uncle or teacher was sexually abusing him regularly? Would he deserve death then? What if he lived near a graveyard and an evil entity attached itself to him giving him dreams of glory and vengeance against anyone who wronged him? I read somewhere that Jesus was asked what’s an unforgivable sin? His answer stuck with me because it opens up many other questions. He said the unrepented sin is the only unforgivable sin. Forgiveness is the root of repentance. This path may be the most difficult for us as mortals to bear…true forgiveness. The damage of how you’re slighted is DONE, now we either run replays in our mind creating neurosis, or we can wipe it clean from our minds (and our souls) by throwing it in the junk drawer and ask oneself “what did I learn from being slighted”? Just my rambling thoughts…
Good rambling thoughts...
