I am more in favor of this every day.

The more this continues, the less faith I have in there being even one single good guy in government.

I kind of suspect that part of the plan is to use the death sentence. But the Q team knew there would be a lot of resistance to it, and needed to give people time to get pissed at the DS players (knowing that the DS is more than willing to sacrifice us all on alters to their masters if they get their way).
