Good point. i have noticed, that if i watch an interview with a musician, or band, before i go see them play live, it totally changes the way i interpret the show.
The Eagles is a good example. The drummer, and the guitar player, have VERY different personalities, which became quite evident during a documentary,
And just knowing a little bit about their personality, made me “hear” their music in a very different way.
Oh, and, whenever someone meets a successful musician, they ALWAYS say the same thing...

thats it. They didn’t rave about how they looked, or how they performed, or how they smelled, or how they...???
Its always about how NICE they are.
So, thats the common denominator of almost all successful musicians.
Heavy Metal was badass. I remember listening to the soundtrack and a lot of Bachman Turner Overdrive when I was riding in a truck nationwide at 18 years old. Takes me right back to those days...a lot of redpills were taken on those trips.
