I’m curious as to why she was arrested. Well, I guess I know why, but what was the excuse for it. I’m sure by tomorrow Anons will have it all laid out.
They've started to arrest the organizers for "mischief". Chris Barber was arrested a couple hours earlier than Tamara, and another trucker as well while they were simple just walking down the street. Meanwhile the brown shirts setup checkpoints everywhere. Police have started to make their move
They are just charging people for mischief, they can only charge people with misdemeanors. They DON'T have the emergency act in place (it hasn't been voted on yet). So they try to get people to sign an agreement to leave Ottawa and not come back.
The trucker nightly update a couple days ago warned people to be cooperative and not resist during an arrest - warned the "authorities" will add charges if they can get away with it.
Been watching live streaming most of the day. Seems to be the consensus that she was arrested and some others heading the convoy. Police have asked/threatened 3-4 trucks to leave, which they have. Threats of closing down their bank accounts etc.
One amazing trucker from Quebec, Eric, had been there for about 3 weeks...one of the first. The government threatened to pull licenses and insurance for the entire company he worked for (Load Safe) if he didn’t leave. This would have affected 55 families. He left, with much regret, and with absolutely no judgement by the other truckers. He is an awesome guy! He did what he had to, to save the livelihoods of 55 families. Damned Freebitch. Damned Turdy. Eric had a convoy lawyer talk to him before he left, and I hope he wasn’t arrested after leaving. I don’t know what happened after he drove away from where he had parked. Bless him. Please keep him safe.
