This lent I'm planning to give up News and GreatAwakening.

40 days might not be enough. Wish I could fast forward to 2024 and see if anyone has been held accountable yet.

Seems like the general public doesnt care about this kinda stuff, right? Like they're desensitized from back in the day when sex crimes were covered in the news or the younger people see the documentaries (Dahmer, Gacy, the dude the Poughkeepsie Tapes was based off of, etc.).

Also maybe a little bit from always seeing famous people get in trouble for a wide range of things and then end up "redeeming themselves" (as long as they dont have the wrong opinions politically).

Or maybe it's like Michelle Obama's junk: everyone has seen it and knows it's there, but their own mind plays a magic trick on them and makes it disappear.
