The Babylonian Talmud is the Talmud. It was first put together by the Pharisees and Sanhedrin when they were imprisoned and exiled in Babylon.
There is the Torah and the Tanakh which together compose the Old Testament, and the Talmud, which is not the Word of God but treated as a religious book by Jewish rabbis as well as Kabbalists.
Most Jews know as little about the Talmud as Christians know about it.
Do Jews actually follow the Babylonian Talmud? I was under the impression most use the other.

In many ways they created this fake world out of the Talmud!
