If a cop is respectful and conducts themselves with a humble mindset, they are more or less trustworthy and worth cooperating with. Otherwise, do not respect any tyrant with a badge. Any cop that comes off as better than you MUST be resisted and put in their place. Yes this may land you in jail. Just goes to show how far our system has fallen. Police cannot arrest you for using your First Amendment against them. Legally they cannot harass you for not cooperating. Cooperation STARTS with the police and ends with us.
Finally, you do not have to say a word to any cop under any circumstance. You have the right to refuse to say anything until your council is present. Obviously your cooperation is your discretion. But ultimately we need to put the SERVE back into PUBLIC SERVANT. And yes... This also goes for our representatives and ALL government officials.
This type of mindset hits way too close to how liberals think. This is pretty much what they were saying during all those riots in 2020.
I hate even thinking this, but it smacks of hypocrisy. It's all "respect the police", "law and order", and "honoring the thin blue line" whenever we think the police would be on our side.
But whenever the police have a duty to carry out orders that we don't agree with, then we just toss those values right out the window. As much as we may disagree on some issues, they have a job to do. It's unreasonable to expect law enforcement to always act in ways that we agree with.
I'm not trying to shame or blame anyone, it's just something that I've noticed that bothers me greatly. This is such a huge shift in attitude towards the police, and everyone here seems to be cool with it.
Back the blue when they serve their communities and uphold CONSTITUTIONAL laws and practices...
Fuck the police when they act like mercenaries of the state. The liberals weren't entirely wrong, you know why? Because left and right are illusions that the elitists use to divide us. There has only ever been freedom and tyranny and those aren't mutually exclusive to one side or the other. In fact the right is actually to blame for a lot of the cultural revolutions because they tried to incorrectly control people. Remember when Christian groups organized to have Family Guy cancelled cause they made fun of Jesus? Yeah, that was wrong. The problem is that wasn't a one off incident. The church was not placed here to rule people. It's to give people the choice to choose a more pious and righteous life, but that CANNOT be forced otherwise it just turns into another form of tyranny as history has taught.
There's nothing hypocritical about having standards and no, you do not have to adopt every aspect of an ideology. That is a cabal lie circulated to mitigate diversity of thought. You are who you choose to be and no you aren't required to follow any rules on how you choose to see the world and what you choose to believe.
What was unconstitutional about what happened with the truckers and the Canadian police? I'm not trying to be argumentative. I simply would like for someone to explain the situation to me, if I'm wrong about this.
I'm not Canadian and I don't know much about their Constitution. But from what I've been reading about what is going on there, I haven't seen anyone claim that the truckers' Constitutional rights are being violated.
I think that many people have an IDEA of what is and is not allowed by various countries' Constitutions. But the reality of what Constitutions say and what people think they say can be very different.
Which is why I'm interested in understanding what you believe has been unconstitutional between the truckers and the police.
