Why are there so many Truth Social Threads that have been stickied??? WTF is the deal when most say the same damned thing??? "TRUTH SOCIAL IS/WENT LIVE"... Come on mods, you're better than this... I get the excitement about it but for pete's sake... One or two is sufficient, not the 9 or 10 that are stickied...

Well if it makes you feel any better I’m in the same boat, see thread above yours, it is likely that even if you have an iPhone(with older software, I never update mine) it still won’t work. Surely it will be resolved soon though so I’m not tripping

It almost feels like a distraction, doesn't it? Only available on apple from the gate, where have we seen this behavior before? Is this the first live date we were expecting, I almost feel like we were promised this a while back, getting a frankspeech vibe. I am not suggesting that it isn't what was promised but do we know what was promised anymore? Has anyone looked into this to see if it is really linked with Trump? I KNOW that in the past his name has been used as a way to garner attention for a project, he would essentially lease his name. If he were under some kind of contract that someone could use his name whenever they launched something this could actually be another group entirely just trying to make some quick money.
If this were the real deal I would suspect that Trump had already acquired all the necessary code to simply GO LIVE and not drag it out like it is being done. No body expects the Digital Acquisition.
No idea what is going on though. No idea why it wouldn't have a desktop option either, mobile only and not even all of them. I wonder if it has anything to do with the practices we have heard employed by Huwai.
I believe that Truth social is part of Trump's plan and that he's behind it 100%... I also believe that it's excitement at the first social media platform that truly embraces freedom of speech... That is what alludes to it being a distraction to me. I also noticed methods in the terms of service that would suggest it isn't entirely supportive of free speech, many forms being removed before they would even be seen. I understand the necessity of maintaining a civil platform but I feel like the potential to remove content before it is viewable isn't in line with free speech. I don't like hearing things that I do not like to hear, I am human like that, but I feel it important to be able to identify those that would "abuse" that right so that I can make a conscious decision to follow/unfollow certain content/providers. Also they hold claim to any and all content posted to their site, much like facebook, twitter and snapchat had situated themselves. They own your content. Just want to make sure it isn't happening like it has always happened. Also saw somewhere that it was to be 18+ with many enjoying to idea that they wouldn't have to worry about a bunch of snotty trolls but I am seeing that for apple at least it is listed as 12+, this could be misinformation though.

But DWAC had caught my attention. I was under the impression that everything was already got so I was anticipating a very smooth launch. I have noticed a trend of bumpy launches with most new things surrounding a lot of what we have been trying to accomplish getting out. So flags everywhere! Could just be me. Some fancy ideas are starting to circulate that it was some kind of move to take out apple. We will see is the best I can surmise. Didn't spend all that time digging to stop now though. We were warned to be careful who we follow.
Right, I thought that was an interesting idea about Apple. Very interesting. I'm loaded up with DWAC and GME so we will see what happens. Someone wrote that they read that GME is issuing NFT tomorrow. That would be interesting, but I did not confirm that.
I stayed out of the stonks, had a few at the start of this and thought I was going it a real go but I really do not care for the money and I didn't have access to enough funds to make an impact when I realized the importance of the APES with DIAMOND HANDS. I am far more interested in a situation involving real money that cannot be manipulated through inflation, power outages, shifty trading practices (i had tried to get in on AMC and got shut down by my trader which is why I left ultimately, that and no one playing the game gets a free pass.) I am pretty dumb so it is probably right that I am a spectator at this point.
It's going to be interesting to see what happens. We just had a little extra money and decided to roll the dice and see what happens. Basically, gambling. I like real money too. We shall see, it's all very interesting and exciting right now. I'm kind of disappointed that TS is having a slow start; although I don't have an iphone so I don't know if I'm even missing anything.
Completely agree, the amount of stickies for the same posts that have no info just "truth social is for iPhone and not Android blah blah blah" while everyone creams their pants in anticipation. I get it, we have been waiting for this day, but it is still just another day and I would like to see more thought put into the damn stickie posts, lame.

Sometimes I think that the view that the normies have of this place is actually correct. We're being led away from Ground Zero by a shiny object waved in front of us. Another way to phrase it might be we're being...wait for it...herded away like sheep.

I took a look at Truth Social. It says by downloading, it will be permitted to collect and link to me my contact information, user content, and browsing history.
So unfortunately, I will not be downloading it. I am an anon who values my anonymity and I got rid of all my other social media a long time ago for the same reason.
