Hijacking your comment. Don’t forget to stock up on hygiene items! Toothpaste, deodorant, soap and tampons.

If there is an economic implosion that bad I think tampons will be one of the most valuable non food or energy items for barter.

Also, tobacco to barter, I don't smoke but in a crisis those who do would give a lot to have a cig or two.
