Over half the store empty. Everyone is frantic. It's packed....
Talk to multiple employees, they said trucks aren't showing.
Said for at this particular store will mostly be gone by end of the day.
Just forwarding my experience.
Please add yours if you have gone today
We get our dog food at the petstore, and having a hard time finding the brand of dog food we get these days. Our pups can't have chicken, turkey or beef, so our options are limited as it is. And it's not like it's cheap either and we have two large breed dogs.
I just ordered $200 worth of dog food from Chewy. I am picky about ingredients since 1 of my dogs developed/died of mast cell tumors my vet said from grains (GMO) in the food. When ordering on line you can study each brand ingredients ahead of time.
We were feeding ours grain free for years, now our senior dog has a heart condition and when I read up more on it I noticed that it’s brought on by feeding grain free food. So now that they have taken the grain out of most dog food it’s hard to find ones with grain and in the flavor/protein needed. Also read people commenting on social media to start feeding dogs with her condition food with grains. Our boxer ate grain free limited ingredient food and still got cancer and died. So who knows what to believe anymore. We spend usually over $50 a bag. What brand & kind of dog food do you buy, if you don’t mind me asking? We were feeding ours Blue Buffalo but in the last year or so we switch to Simply Nourish. Right now it’s getting harder to get the ones we need. Been looking for an alternative but it’s not easy to find a good food that has the protein our pups can eat without allergy.
I use Purina One sensitive skin and stomach recommended by my vet. I used to give Blue Buffalo but they didnt care for it much. I should say though I give them fresh fruit and vegetables for snacks which they love and I think a healthier choice for a treat.
We give ours fresh carrots. I use to give the younger pup bananas (fresh & frozen), but he stopped liking them. He use to eat little pieces of apples & blueberries too but same as bananas he stopped liking them, guess as he went from puppy stage to adult (mind you he is only 3 yrs old) he decided he didn't want them anymore. Our senior dog has never like fruit, but she will snack on a carrot, lol. You can't say CHEESE or crinkle a cheese bag without the younger one come running in the kitchen, lol. It's like his crack! haha. Even if you can get it out without making a noise he literally can smell it from the other room and come to investigate. He's too damn cute for my own good, I can tell you. And Lord the boy is smart! I thought our senior girl was smart, he picks things up faster than she ever did. Typically all our male dogs were not as smart or quick to learn, so was surprised what a fast learner he is, and so ready to learn too.
