It's a fairly straightforward and accepted opinion here. And you're the top comment as I read it.
Economically, especially in lower income tiers, getting half the income of 10 different men is much more lucrative than trying to get one man's income to cover for 10 kids. May God bless those women who never fell for the government-supported economic push to be immoral.
Feminism, regardless of the way it's been dressed up and presented, was always destructive to our families and to society in general.
That logic doesn't exist tho. They don't get half the pay of 10 dudes. They get 0 pay from 10 dudes because they aren't around long enough to drag them through court. My sister's baby daddy was a dj. When things were on the upward trend things were fine. Got paid big bucks to work new clubs and shit every week. Did party gigs on weekends etc. The moment that dried up she took him to court and was awarded nothing because he has no legal income to garnesh. The only reason why she was able to drag him through court was because he actually wanted to help raise the kids. He wanted to be a good dad. That is what's lacking in the hood for the most part. Everyone here with preconceived notions on welfare queens and deadbeat dads should do themselves a favor and try having a conversation with these types of people. You'll learn what blind spots you have. None of these hoes are living nicely on section 8. The ones you see doing well are second and third generation that are living on mom's gov handouts while working to escape the hood.
Every state has a different implementation of the child support laws. In California at least, the enforcement can vary wildly from one county to another (including wage garnishments without proof of service). My example was overly simplistic, to be sure. But regardless of the details, in strictly economic terms, the government provides many short term incentives that encourage divorce and out-of-wedlock births. My complaint is about the perverse structure of government incentives, not so much the individuals whose behavior is often shaped by them. I think it negatively affects working class and middle class as well, not just welfare recipients.
