All the while, Durham continues his work and what comes of his ultimate conclusions might convince the nation that the political class is indeed above the law – or maybe, just maybe, some people in high places will finally get their comeuppance. Holding one’s breath is not advised.

Last two paragraphs of the article are above. The writer doesn't think the political class will be held accountable for their treasonous activity. I also believe, like your comment, they should be held accountable (and for me that means criminally), but should be punished to the fullest extent available for the crime committed and found guilty of. We (patriots) don't want harm to come to someone liberal who doesn't want to rule our world, but (I think) we want the most harm to come to the people who want to rule us and control every part of our lives and also would like to see harm come to us..
