I've been paying higher gas prices since early 2021, the supply chain shocks started at least 4 months ago, and inflation had started at least since early last summer (remember the July 4th meal savings nonsense). Ukraine does not account for any that.

If the Ukraine crisis they mean politicians sucking the wealth dry from Ukraine for the past 10 years, then yes, that would contribute.
