Amen.
Doesn't sound very good to me...
Slavery to sin (in that you cannot stop sinning) leads only to death.
Being a slave to Christ means you seek to do God’s will (which is holy and perfect and good) and leads to eternal life.
Either way, one of these two will be your destiny, you live or die. This life is not unimportant, yet what happens when we die? Can you honestly tell me that anyone is perfectly good if their own volition? We are all bad. We have eternity placed in our hearts. That is evident by one word, legacy. The legacy you leave behind on earth shapes peoples views of you, which people place at a strangely high value. Also, look at the zeal people have for seemingly random things, like COVID, there is a lower case g god in their life. They are slaves to that fear. So each person’s god that they follow is a mere substitute for the belief in God. The problem is, the god of fear, the god of sensuality, the god of wealth, the god of fame, has no eternal prospective. There’s nothing to be gained after you die. What is the point of it all if when you die, all is for nothing?
Why has saying God damn it and Jesus Christ become the quintessential swear word for non believers? Turns out this is part of Satans ploy, further proving Christianity.
If you are interested in the the science of a young earth, I have a friend who has saved a bunch of links that he could cobble together in just a few minutes if you are interested. All from good sources, it’s what converted him actually. He became Christian after looking at the age of the earth, came to the conclusion that there must be a God, then looked into all the religions, finding that Christianity was the only one that told the truth of history, and maintained continuity throughout.
Sorry for the long rant, I’m rather wordy.
I don't believe the earth is 6000 years old.
