I read all of your comment, haven't gotten to the videos yet because I've got live streams on the Russia bs on my other screens I'm watching atm. I was just saying the bible in all of its versions in all different religions were all written by humans and humans have a history of misinformation. A lot of what was put into history books was not entirely accurate. If it's written by a human then there is always the chance that some of it may be misinformation.
It would not surprise me if there were a supreme being that people would call God but I'll never believe in heaven or hell because I'm not so arrogant to believe us humans are that special over every other form of life to magically live forever after death. I'll always believe we're just another form of life and when we die, that's it, nothing after that. That doesn't mean god isn't real but people should stop clinging to the chance of living forever after death and instead more so embrace the life they have that is guaranteed.
Even a lot of atheists wouldn't 100% say there is no god. That gets twisted because people want to always be right and ignore subtle differences. Many atheists more so believe there is no afterlife. I think more so atheists probably simply don't care if god is real or not and just live their lives because we are only guaranteed 1 life.
My opinion of the bible is that it was as anyone should know, written by humans but what is real in it is not the important part. People have abused and perverted religion throughout the years for personal gain but I've always believed it was more intended to serve as a moral compass. Religious people tend to live more full lives without going to jail or dealing with lots of drama.
I never downvote posts also, even if I disagree because I believe everyone's opinion should be respected even if it's obviously the wrong opinion. In those instances we can provide our opinion to counter but ultimately everyone should be free to live the way they want to live so long as it doesn't negative impact other people's lives.
There are far too many people that are atheist that will get violent because maybe they are evil lol? I'm not sure but some people refuse to accept that people have differing opinions and beliefs. I never call myself atheist because I never say god is not real. I simply say god has not been proven to be real without any doubt. Much of religion in that aspect requires a level of faith to believe in something that has not been proven.
I personally don't care if god is real or not because I'll never believe in life after death. If god were real, I would believe it to be simply a supreme being of a form of life billions of years more advanced than us. I'll never believe the big bang theory scientists try to say where once there was nothing and bang instantly everything appears.
That's where faith comes into play because people have to form their own opinions on these things. Some people choose not to and just live a life of blind ignorance to everything but that is their choice. I know a lot of what's in the bible from being forced into church against my will as a child but I've always enjoyed learning things, especially history.
I don't know how many people know it but Babylon was located in the country we call Iraq today. I've always enjoyed learning more about history but it can be frustrating digging through all of the fake history to find real history. Regardless of what each of us believes, we are all still on this planet and can do our part to help keep it a nice place to live for everyone.
It's a shame we have corrupt governments allowing people like BLM and antifa to destroy things of historical value though.
