There's been a couple of human patients completely cured of AIDS using something similar to that. If you DDG something like AIDS patient cured I'll get you'll find articles about it. It was kind of a big deal when it happened. I think it hasn't been widespread because it's only a certain genetic profile of person that it's worked on so far.
