I seem to remember a while back some videos on YouTube of people exploring the exclusion zone around Chernobyl, and some areas were off-limits and I think guarded. Can't be due to the radiation hazard - the Geiger counters serve that purpose. It's looking more likely there was some sort of secret installation hidden there. Time to dig through old Chernobyl exploration videos.
