What are your thoughts on this?
Edit: it was Franklin D. Roosevelt, a Democrat, who encamped the Japanese.
Seriously, the Democrats want a war so badly right now, they'll make sure they do something to instigate a war. It's my fear.

We aren't going to war this is another case of swamp draining
Yeah, someone should tell the radical/sjw/activists on the left that Putin found their Nazi monsters in Ukraine.
The US can't go to war with Russia over this.
Ukraine is not a NATO affiliate.
The US has no formal alliances with the Ukraine.
ON PAPER, the Ukraine is a non-entity, a non-nation. It is still technically a part of Russia, and has been this entire time.
If you secede from your parent country, but don't finish filing all the paper work on a global stage to get formally recognized as a sovereign nation, then what happens?
If you stay in that limbo, does that mean you aren't accountable to any international groups? Yes?
If you stay in that limbo, does that mean you can still claim citizenship in the parent country but hide behind your little walls in your "seceded" nation when they try to prosecute you for crimes? Yes?
Then what incentive is there to ever become a fully sovereign and recognized nation?
If a company can't get sued because they are liquidating due to bankruptcy, then isn't it beneficial to always be in a state of liquidation?
If they can't put cameras in the restroom at your workplace and don't require you to clock out when taking a deuce, wouldn't that mean you can freely play games on your phone while clocked in?
It's the same logic. If the Ukraine stays a moving target, not technically a part of any nation while also still being a part of Russia, they can commit any crime they want globally and Russia gets the blame when it comes to the court system, because the final papers have never been filed.
So, the US can't go to war for Ukraine against Russia, because everything happening, on paper, is all still happening between Russia-A and Russia-B. We'd be the instigators in invading Russia if we go there to help Ukraine. That's why NATO backed down, because officially the Ukraine isn't a real nation.
Here's what happened -- they have been cheating national sovereignty procedures, Russia has finally called them out on it, and now they are crying because they got caught abusing an intentionally flawed system.
Astute Sir. ThankQ.
NATO's charter does not allow that.
It needs to be an armed attack, which means Russia needs to attack the United States, or some other NATO affiliate, with clear use of kinetic warfare.
In other words, a cyber-attack is not immediate grounds for war. You'd need objective proof of armed combat between NATO entities.
However, there are circumstances where a cyber-attack is sufficient for pre-emptive actions, only if the cyber-attack itself constitutes an "armed attack" component.
https://columbialawreview.org/content/evaluating-the-imminence-of-a-cyber-attack-for-purposes-of-anticipatory-self-defense/
This hinges on a loose interpretation of Article 51
Nothing there suggests that any cyber-attack requires use of the Caroline Doctrine for self-defense.
Which means, it all hinges on a subjective interpretation of an "imminent armed attack" to follow said cyber-attack.
Ultimately, that means there must be a convening of National Heads to discuss the intent, motive, and nature of the cyber-attack and then an agreement that it will be soon followed up with an "imminent armed attack."
If they fail to follow this procedure, and jump right into war, and it is found out that Russia was framed for the cyber-attack, then Russia would have a full-run of all future NATO agreements as it pertains to the definition of "imminent armed attack."
In other words, if they play that card now and lose, they can not only never play it again, but they give Russia the power to rewrite their bylines.
Pray The United States Does Not Go To War. It does not end well for anyone.
Not sure if you heard of the theory that SOTU adress was delayed to march 1st, a while back, with the intent of declaring "war" on russia. Meaning all was planned. Also, metadata in putin announcement of "incursions" was taped on 21st but posted on 23rd, to coincide with "fatherland day".

yes, this
We aren't going to war with Russia. No way.
Well hopefully swe simply do not allow this shit to happen to anyone??>?> Like We are all humans simply put. To put someone in a cage to hate someone simply because of where they are from, and how they look? Like what the fuck. We just cannot allow this....not here....not in God's country, not in the USA. Fuck that!
Absolutely. We all are human and we can't help where we're born, the color we are, the gender.....etc. But the Democrats don't care about any of that. They don't look at us as human. They despise us. You can see it in them every time.
Not going to war with Russia. Their supply chain is like going across town comparably. To attack the US they don’t have it to do it. If we were to meet them on their land then we better pound on our elected politicians.
If there is an interaction, big IF, you’ll see the camera flash.
They are welcome to house 2 maybe 3 of them good looking Russian beauties at my house.
They won’t do squat. There are Russian Speznaz troops on US soil now. One of them can take out a cities power grid in 48 hours or less.
Link for devolution.... again, it should be stickied somewhere, thanks
