AD here. Sacrificed my body and took the shot with the hope that I don’t get seriously ill or die and can still provide for my family. I commend people who refused it, but there are those of us who have been in for a looooong time and couldn’t afford to get out. But don’t you worry, I’m still fighting with and for the vax refusers.
Timing my man. I get defensive on this subject because I fucking hate that I was put in this position. Had my dream job of a military pilot. Sure if I work at a cubicle or an odd job for $40k a year I can easily jump ship and head somewhere else and call myself a hero. I’m not in that situation. Do I forfeit $3m in salary and retirement over the next couple of decades or do I take one for my family and keep moving on the chance I luck out? For now I’ve lucked out.
This isn’t a terrible situation with an easy solution. That’s why it’s terrible. It was forced on us. Walking away was an option, but I and most of us with families, mortgages, cars, investment properties not making rent simply couldn’t leave.
Any way, I’m done being defensive. Thanks for listening ole chap.
It's 10x harder in your shoes I bet. Still though, you are worth more than 3 million dollars and retirement benefit. Your dream job though, probably priceless.
Let's hope things all work out.
For now, since it's already done. May lady luck smiles on you like Melania smiles at Trump.
he's fighting for us by standing up for freedom.
Looks like DiCaprio, except this version's happy he didn't sell his soul to the devil.
