Especially in the south they always have the AC cranked LOL!
I grew up in Illinois but l have vacationed in South Carolina since childhood. My husband and I want to spend more time down there in our retirement. It's too bad I have to be ashamed of being a northerner LOL. But truly, more and more I feel like I don't have anything in common with the people around here - even most members of my extended family.
I'm even more to the south than S.C., I'm in the southern part of Alabama, near Florida. We do get chilly here during "our" wintertime, which is very short lived, and we do get springtime & also fall seasons but get just as hot & humid as Florida. I have lived in the southern & the northern parts of Florida also. We've also lived in Georgia, North Carolina & Virginia, and that's just since I've been married, growing up we were back and forth between different parts of Florida & NJ. This is actually the longest I have lived in one place is Alabama. So I guess you can say I'm mostly southern even though I was born in the north.
Yeah I get cold easily too, I would probably be the only one in a store or restaurant with a jacket on and I live in the south, lol.
