Vatican gold seems to be an archetype, and any talk of it would automatically garner the epithet of conspiracy theorist. Any Vatican goings-on involving legitimate audits and repatriation of say, Nazi (stolen) gold; ill-gotten gains from Russia or China adventures, but also bribery through pedophilia non-sense, or blackmail amongst a jostling internal hierarchy, would be game. The Vatican has a long history of gathering gold through foul means, that included assassination. This foul stench of old wounds must be addressed in a transparent, digital world.
No matter how telegraphed the Vatican operation was by white-hats, in a twenty-first century fashion, the whole idea of discussing such subjects as: legitimately busting up conspiracies, is quickly brushed under the carpet by the mainstream, due to books such as Da Vinci Code, Name of the Rose and The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail. We are all conspiracy theorists, then.
