My mom just called to tell me that she heard an easy explanation of russia/ukraine stuff. Her words:

"Russia is like a crazy ex boyfriend who beats the shit out of Ukraine and wont let her have friends. (Us, europe, etc). Now the crazy ex boyfriend is back to beat her again but her friends wont let him beat her up this time."

I think my jaw hit the floor. 🤣🤣🤣 I was like wait... what?!

Shes a boomer who sticks on fb and news so I shouldnt have been surprised but 🤦🏼‍♀️ The bad thing is shes hardcore conservative! I guess thats why I was shocked she just ran with that angle.
