The Carter Fold, a music venue, is right beside the Carter's house.

John Paul Jones stopped by there a few years ago as a tourist! Famous people there off and on. Beautiful area...on Clinch River in a gorgeous valley....Hiltons, VA. God's country! About 35 mins from me.

We found the are because TN had blue laws...no beer on Sunday...so we'd drive to SW VA , buy cheap beer and cigs and ride the backroads (they all were!)

We used to drink beer and smoke pot on A.P.'s grave in the 70s!! Dumbasses we were.

Statute o' limitations has run out!

I miss TN. I loved those mountains since I was a kid, and I dated a beautiful woman from them too.
