I’ve been looking at Snapchat Map for several in Ukraine. It’s a very clear honest picture of life of the ordinary person. If you aren’t familiar with Snapchat & the map. A user can post snap (short video clip) to their story (stays 24 hours) or they can send snap privately to friends.
You can also post your snap to the public & it’s available on the map for anyone to view. Your username name isn’t on your snap when it’s public.
Sounds crazy if you haven’t experienced but people snap everything to friends.
I have less than ten snap friends. My husband & I mostly send snaps back & forth.
I’m seeing mostly normal snaps:
food
silly filters on face
posting what you are doing with music or a filter
alcoholic drinks
coffee
people walking down the street ** there isn’t a lot of people on the street!
people in bomb shelters (only a few snaps)
massive amount of people trying to get on a train. Way more than you see in Black Friday videos fighting over toasters. (Sorry only example I can thank of)
bomb alarm in one snap
about 4 snaps refuges either leaving Ukraine or coming. Some text was English but mostly was foreign.
one snap of dog saying don’t leave your pets
lots snaps of happy kids
lines at grocery stores
*** NO Damaged Buildings
**** NO Soildiers
**** No Army, No Tanks, No Planes, No Military!!!
*** No Reporters, No News!!!!
I wish it had a translation feature. Some people were just talking & I think they might have been saying something important. They weren’t laughing & smiling, kinda seriouse. Who knows!?
What I’m getting from this most people are living a normal life. Some might be worried about what might happen.
I got that idea during the Afghanistan airport mess but thought of it too late. I did see Afghan’s parading down the street with our weapons. The citizens didn’t seem scared. Going about there business like it was a Christmas parade.

Those are not regular HE rounds, Those are incendiary or thermobaric rounds...
