Ha! Well, I'm a recovering alcoholic, 33 years clean and sober, so I've been "boycotting" them for decades now... and they probably haven't even noticed. Hehehe....
Besides meeting my wife and being happily married for many years, getting sober is one of the best things that ever happened to me. I still attend two meetings per week and live a day at a time. Best of everything to you and your husband.
Well they call me an old timer and I'm sponsoring 5 new guys, but I can't keep what I have unless I give it away. I'm just one of the lucky ones....some alcoholics never make it to the rooms of AA. But I'm studying to be no one special, humility is one of the core values of AA.

Congratulations on 33 yrs!!! That is an amazing journey of personal battles won-jeep it up :-) My hubs is 3-1/2 yrs in- it's work (esp these days)

And while I suspect you're too modest to admit it, I'm willing to bet that you're an inspiration for the young men in those meetings as well.
