Well, it obviously didn't matter whether or not ANY of us voted in the TX GOP Primaries today, based on the election results coming in already. NOBODY in any of the vital races that I voted for (based on mega research) won their primaries against the Trump-endorsed incumbent candidates.
Based on who's winning the TX GOP primaries (assuming that it's anywhere near a 'fair/un-rigged count'), everyone in TX is still INCREDIBLY ASLEEP! Trump endorsing Gov. Greg Abbott, Lt Gov. Dan Patrick, and Atty. General Ken Paxton sure didn't help matters - b/c the overwhelming amount of Trump supporter 'normies' blindly voted for those guys.
The VAST majority of TX voters obviously haven't paid attention to ANYTHING or dug into the details about any of their actions/policies, and did zero critical thinking or research whatsoever.
My pick for Governor - Chad Prather (who's hell bent on stopping child sex trafficking on the TX border) - got barely any votes. Even the absolutely most stellar candidate for TX Land Commission who's in charge of our southern border (Victor Avila - a bi-lingual former Border Patrol agent) is almost dead last in that race, and highly esteemed Texas-based US House Rep Louie Gohmert is near the bottom of the pack for TX Attorney General.
I am utterly disgusted and sick to my stomach by tonight's outcome. Just wanna crawl into a dark hole and not come out until we're in Earth 2.0 with Trump back at the helm.
You think Beto and his cronies aren't going to do it again?
Anyone with half the name recognition of Abbott could be beat out of the governor's slot much easier with a large cheat.
I know all about holding your nose to vote for the snake in the grass, Cruz. I did it. I am hoping to see him primaried by a conservative Trump supporter the next time he comes up for election, but the last time there was no choice. That is how the cabal sits up every election.
Oh definitely - Beto "take your guns" O'Rourke will be up to all his dirty tricks again, no doubt. And I too held my nose voting for Ted Cruz last time - made me nauseated doing it, but Beto was certainly far worse.
However, I don't agree with the concept that a candidate has to have a big war chest in the general election at all. Every Republican that I know votes straight party ticket for all GOP candidates in the general election. It wouldn't matter who the GOP candidate is at that point.
One could argue that the 'independents' are moved by political ads and that big campaigns and are a factor in the general election, but the country is so polarized at this point, I put very little weight into that anymore. Most people have picked a lane by now, after all this oppression and tyranny re: the plan-demic. And there are FAR too many gun owners in Texas for Beto to win fairly - it would only come by mega cheating and an extra million illegals voting for him this time around, IMO.
