In my parents area,(TX) the atms will do everything but give cash. It is 5 miles to the nearest atm that will give cash from the branch at the corner by their house
Is this a new problem or has it always not had cash? I thought ATMs main purpose was giving cash. I know you can do other transactions. But, I’ve never used it for that. I can deposit a check on the bank App. My husband uses that function all the time.
If you have a store closer to you buy a bottle or water or something like that & get cash back. I used to do that at the grocery store in my local town because I didn’t have my bank ATM. This way I didn’t get a fee for using another banks ATM. Seems like those fees were $3.00 & my bank charged also. I figured I would eat or drink whatever I bought so just giving it to the bank.
Interesting. My wife and I have been wondering if we were just imagining or ATMs were disappearing over the past 2 years. Definitely part of the CBDC / One World agenda.
I’m curious, in USA at my bank (I believe nationwide) there’s a daily limit of how much you can withdraw from an ATM. For example a my husband’s friend recently died. He helped her with funeral & and everything. They had to go inside the bank to withdraw money for expenses.
If you need more money than the ATM allows how does that work for you in Greece? Is it online or phone calls with the bank?

I can't get mines at the drive thru anymore. Gotta go inside......
Yep they've been disappearing at quite an alarming rate

Here in Greece the banks are closing but ATMs remain operational.

Maybe they're trying the smaller pop countries in case there's some sort of dissent.
