The SCOTUS will take this into account in regard to still-pending litigation. It's a "sense of the Senate" vote statement. Particularly noteworthy that 6 (D) Senators were not even present for the vote, yet the vote was still scheduled. Unlikely Schumer is in control on this. Were Manchin and Sinema 2 of the absentees along with that New Mexico stroke-out?
