I feel like I’ve heard nothing about the convoy at all like we did about the Canadian one. I assumed it was because of all the Ukrainian drama, which I’m sure the Deep State loves. They get their war conflict and a distraction from freedom fighters in the US. 🙄

Well, you've got this guy leading the thing that keeps every 5 minutes warning people to do literally nothing but keep driving (expensive/drains funds and doesn't do anything but jam up traffic and piss off normies), don't act up or piss anyone off because it might provoke action by the cops, make sure to stay in the designated lane, "if you don't like it this is not the convoy for you", etc. "I hope nobody goes 'home running' into town because they will be stopped, and they will end up in jail." He says that the sole purpose of the convoy is to "show people how many of us there are" or something like that. He talks about all these people are covering the thing and there's all this (social/)media coverage, and it sort of sounds like he's involved in facilitating that, but I haven't really been seeing a lot of this coverage.

Near the beginning it sounded like someone was booing, and I thought, "what a dick". But then the guy was talking about some other lady who was (it seemed to me) a leader, and informing people that she had "left to visit family" or something like that. I wonder what that family emergency was, or if there is more to that story. It seems like others in the convoy had been asking questions and were concerned. If she left for a family emergency, why didn't she speak to the convoy about it herself (not blaming her but just saying there might be more to the story there).

What the Canadians did was passive but disruptive. They very efficiently went somewhere and parked to protest, and the funds they received went toward things like food. If they don't park and protest indefinitely then this is just one of thousands of minor protests that will do nothing and get minimal coverage for it.

This guy is actually telling people not to do legal things so they don't get arrested. If the convoy can't even exercise its legal right to protest, how is that supposed to produce any change at all? I'm not out there so I can't judge anyone for how they decide to do things, and for sure I understand that it doesn't help for anyone to go to jail.

I don't see how this convoy is supposed to produce serious change if all they do is drive. It is exhausting, uncomfortable, and demoralizing, and time spent perpetually on the road is time that the people who actually came out to protest can't even "be together" (in fellowship), form an internal community, or protest. They already get only minimal coverage. How long can that situation last? I'm not sure but I think near the beginning he discussed the possibility of going to other locations to be potentially discussed later, but that only makes them less effective because if they just spend a day here and a day there, and they never enter any key locations, then they are just minimizing the impact in any particular location, and draining funds. He says, "we're going to make 2 rounds today and then we're going to increase the frequency (!)". I don't think that's why some of these people came out, but maybe I'm wrong. I thought they were trying to do something like what they did in Canada (legally protest vaccine mandates), even at the possible cost of provoking a reaction. I didn't hear a word of that in this video. If they are already voluntarily waiving their right to protest then what exactly is the purpose of this convoy? I'm seriously asking, why are people there? What are they protesting and what are they trying to achieve? I'm not sure I know anymore.

Fingers crossed, I was gonna make the trek but flying solo in a leftist stronghold... So many sheep amongst us

That's because an occupation of the Capitol and honking is way cooler than "we're going to slow roll the beltway TWICE each day until they submit!"
