It's a "green" energy push. They intend to force us off oil so we have no choice but to adopt electric cars and shit. In the end, only the elite and governments will be able to afford oil. They want to kill the car. It affords us to much freedom.
We have a choice to just stay home because we can't afford the gas to go to work. Imagine if everyone tried this for one day, then two, then three, etc.
