It's interesting, but it doesn't surprise me. His position has always been anti-war, regardless of the reasons, which as a politician, it should be.
The majority of Americans see this as an aggressive and unprovoked attack by Putin (which may or may not be at least half-true, still hard to say at this point since any real information to come out of the region is hiding in thick fogs of propaganda from both sides), so the most beneficial side to take is the one Trump has taken which is to condemn the war.
Too bad Trump can't tell the truth about things. The plan. Disinformation. Information War. I get it. Buy I'm hoping to eventually hear the man tell the truth about so many things like JFK and 9/11.
