How about the "transfer agreement" (Haavara). There's a whole book on it with that name, written by a zionist.
Quote: "In 1932, how many organizations in Germany represented German Jewry? Over 250. In 1933, how many? One, and one only; Labor Zionism" -> book - > "Shabtai Tzvi, Labor Zionism and the Holocaust , by Israeli author -> Barry Chamish
I don't have any references for the financing of Hitler's run for chancellor, but he would be the first in modern history that wasn't financially backed by zionist interests as they back all sides.
Literally ANYTHING written by Jews about history...especially Zionists...is suspect. I think you're making more of the Haavara Agreement than it actually was. It was an agreement to give Jews passage to Palestine, and since there wasn't any sort of banking arrangement at the time facilitating transfer of assets, and German Marks wouldn't have any value in Palestine, a barter arrangement of like value was determined for those Jews once they arrived. This was all offered in good faith by Germany, in spite of the threats and attacks by the bolsheviks. Remember, in 1933, Jews declared war against Germany, and many of those Jewish organizations were actually communist cells. So, the numbers you quote probably represent a culling of those cells.
I'm pretty well-versed in the history of that time, and I have never seen any suggestion whatsoever of Zionist influence of Hitler's prominence. The Zionists were in charge during the Weimar, and they were intentionally destroying Germany for their own benefit. Hitler understood this, and what the bankers were doing, and he threw them all out. A counter-argument for Zionist interests would be so far-fetched, it just doesn't seem probable at all. They hated Hitler all the more for what he did, and vowed to exterminate all of Germany by aligning themselves with Churchill and FDR. Stalin was already a given.
I don't disagree with any of this by and large, but zionist influence is almost always highly covert and hidden.
My take is, I think the zionists realized that the Germans had figured out "The Big Lie" (drawing America into WWI) and knew their presence in the most hospitable country in Europe up until that point, had an approaching expiration date. They then leveraged this fact to come up with a way to populate Zion (Israel) as laid out by Theodore Herzl, who insisted the new immigrants had to come to the barren desert plot of land "voluntarily".
Thus, as usual, the cooperation was partially overt, but mostly covert in order to make the best of the situation at hand.
Hitler didn't throw out the zionists, he actively collaborated with them.
