None of the internet search engines are overly good.

Back in the Windows 98 and Windows 2000 days, I had a program called Copernic 2000 Pro I downloaded from some warez site (somebody here may remember FOSI) and it was fantastic.

It performed searches by checking multiple search engines and prorating the results.

All the results were stored locally and you could check out the results at your leisure.

Really miss that and haven't found anything similar for either Linux or Windows since.
