Fake or legal, would anyone know the differ? It's certainly also possible that Trump could have triggered Section 3 and removed his "inability" multiple times... of course that would require a lot of keeping Drunk Nancy quiet...
I concede that the "First Family" aspect is not much, and it does appear that the 2017 statement was made at the Vice President's Ceremonial Office, inside the EEOB and he did refer to it as the "White House." But it's certainly odd to refer to the EEOB as the "White House", when it's simply not the "White House." It's NEXT to the West Wing of the "White House" / "white house" (the Executive Residence/Mansion). But the building itself is not part of the White House. It'd be like standing in the Library of Congress and saying "welcome to the US Capitol Building." Makes no sense. I wonder if any other VP or POTUS holding events ever referred to the EEOB as the White House... would require some deeper digging. All I know is that Norman pointed us to the importance of the EEOB and that he was convinced that it was what Trump was referring to, as differentiated from the "white house" ("small letters").
Yes, very strange that Trump wouldn't be at the anniversary commencement. Very strange that Miller went "off script" to talk about Pence's involvement in these "military operations" but not Trump... the VP has no authority over any branch of the military. Only POTUS. Again, just quite odd...
The Vice President of the United States has no constitutional power to exercise authority in any military matters in any way. Hence, why the VP is not in any military chain of command. Cheney meddled, illegally.
Nope. Constitution is very clear:
And the VP becomes POTUS upon vacancy (originally, was only to serve as ACTING POTUS until a new one was elected, but his Ascendancy John Tyler opened a massive can of worms).
VP presides over the Senate, breaks ties, and is backup POTUS. That's it and nothing more. Hence why John Adams called it
Anything else is unconstitutional
