I haven't seen the testimony (or whatever to call it), but from the comments here, I get the impression that the Russian appearance is pro forma. They are checking some kind of procedural box so what they do next will be diplomatically impeccable. I have to hope it will be a more damning disclosure.

I read somewhere that Ukraine had a nuclear weapon program ongoing, with them sourcing enriched uranium and scrounged plutonium from commercial reactors. And that the program was ongoing in the basement of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Oh...didn't the Russians make a point of capturing that power plant at the outset of activities? Inquiring minds want to know!
