And, how do we build depth of character again? Only by becoming aware of our truth, which usually requires pain.
I do feel pity for humanity, and I hope for a renewal and a wave of virtue, character, integrity, and ethic. In other words... a rebirth in Christ.
A bit related but not centric: i love how boomers criticize the younger generations when they gave us Gloria Steinem, the sexual revolution, rampant drug use, the hardcore socialist agenda and the fact that they raised the generation that they judge. Shit, the way I see it, I'm surprised anyone outside of the Bible Belt had a chance. Add government propaganda/programming to that and you're golden.
Jesus is the answer for everyone but that path is narrow and few are placed upon it. Perhaps things are changing. As above, so below.
You are so right. I am an X-er. But thanks to my parents our family culture has always beek akin to the Greatest Generation.
