The Bible has some pretty gross and fucked up shit as well. Mostly things used to support a patriarchal system that history has proven to be flawed.

Men were not created to dominate women. We were created as equals and history proves time and again that we succeed functioning as a team instead of trying to rule over each other based on arbitrary bullshit.
