Just got a notice from my parts supplier in Shenzhen.
All businesses in Shenzhen, China's manufacturing hub, are closed effective immediately for an indefinite period. That includes all shipping companies including FedEx. NOTHING is going in or out of the most important manufacturing hub in the world right now, and there is no timeframe on when it may reopen.
Supposedly, this is due to a Coronavirus outbreak. We all know that reason is crap. I suspect the invasion of Taiwan is about to begin. Can't think of any other event big enough to warrant this.
Just thought I would pass along the information in case anyone had any doubts.
Okay, so after reading through comments, and looking at the timing, my conclusion, as well as a few others, is they are preparing for a visit to Taiwan.
Now that they've seen western backlash against Russia for its "invasion" of the Ukraine they can better prep for the "onslaught" while staying on target.
Couldn't say how exactly off the top of my head, nor really care as I don't need to prove this to myself already being of the opinion this is the case but I'm sure someone here will!
NCSWIC!!
Dual purpose. This also puts a finishing blow to the US supply chain. Walmarts shelves will be empty in a week. Dollar stores too which a lot of our less well off citizens rely on for basic needs.
Dont stop your prepping.
If you se3 a media blackout for the area and they may need one because China can't take Taiwan unless Taiwan whitehats are helping
Taiwan has some decent counterstrike ability, so maybe this is how we blow Beijing off the map.
Yeah, I have no idea on Taiwan's defense capabilities but that seems to be the consensus.
That being the case though, they may not even need to go ashore.
The narrative seems to be that China wants Taiwan back, but I've been thinking it's just a DS cleanse. Or biolab cleanse.
Taiwan is pretty well defended — they have a lot of our military tech; they also have Japan.
Japan considers the defense of Taiwan as crucial to their own security; they have a big military presence in the area, and special forces operatives in Taiwan itself.
